The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles and the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife recently announced the issuance of three new images for the conservation plates. The new images, being made available immediately (white tail deer, common loon and brook trout), are meant to replace the older catamount image.
Proceeds from the sale of conservation license plates go towards the Vermont Watershed Grants Program and the Non-game Natural Heritage Program. New this year and if the sale of plates has a dramatic increase, the Commissioner of Fish and Wildlife can direct some of the proceeds to the Conservation Camps.
